PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: If installment is not coming, do it immediately

From August 1, the sixth installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and the second installment of 2000 rupees of this year will start coming in the farmers’ account, but there are many farmers who have not received the first installment of this year.



According to the data available on PM Kisan’s website, the fifth installment of Rs 2000 has reached the account of 73 percent farmers of Uttar Pradesh. That means 27 percent of registered farmers are deprived of it. At the same time, the fifth installment has reached only 2 percent farmers of Madhya Pradesh.



The main reason for not getting the money in the accounts of millions of farmers is the spelling of the name registered on their application, bank account or Aadhaar card.   • Go to the official website of PM-Kisan Scheme (https://pmkisan.gov.in/). Go to its Farmer Corner and click on the Edit Aadhaar Details option.
  • You enter your Aadhaar number here. After this enter a captcha code and submit.
  • If your name is wrong only, ie both your application and your name in Aadhaar are different then you can fix it online.
  • If there is any other mistake, then contact it in your Lekhpal and Agriculture Department office
  • If you are deprived of this scheme till now, you should first contact your accountant, Kanungo or District Agricultural Officer. If you are not hearing there too, contact the helpline (155261 or 1800115526). Apart from this you can also talk on 011-23381092.

  • Go to the website pmkisan.gov.in. 
  • Look at the menu bar on the home page and go to ‘Farmer’s Corner’ here. 
  • Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ link here.
  • After this enter your state, district, sub-district, block and village details
  • After filling this, click on Get Report and get the complete list
These 2 easy steps to know the status
  • Step 1- First go to PM Kisan website pmkisan.gov.in. Look at the menu bar on the home page and go to ‘Farmer’s Corner’ here. Click on BeneficiaryStatus here. 
  • Step 2: Now on this page you will see 3 options to know the status of your form. Aadhaar number, account number and mobile number. Click or tap on one of these. Now enter the number in the option you have selected and click on Get Data. 

Let us know that every year the Modi government sends Rs 6000 directly in three installments to the farmers’ account. The central government started the scheme on 24 February 2019 and it was affected only from 1 December 2018. That is, till now farmers have got 5 installments and the sixth installment will start coming from August 1.



They will not get benefit

  • Farmer families which belong to one or more of the following categories
  • Former and current holders of constitutional posts
  • Former and current ministers / ministers of state and former / current members of Lok Sabha / Rajya Sabha / state assemblies / state legislative councils, former and current mayors of municipal corporations, former and current presidents of district panchayats.
  • All serving or retired officers and employees of Central / State Government Ministries / Offices / Departments and its field units, Central or State Public Undertakings and attached offices / autonomous institutions and regular employees of local bodies under Government
  • (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV / Group D employees)
  • All supernatural / retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs. 10,000 / – is more
  • (Except Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV / Group D employees of the above category)
  • All persons paying income tax in the last assessment year
  • Professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants and architects are registered with and practice professional bodies.
