This tax will be in addition to property tax,
according to the tax leader Sadan Narendra Chawla, people living in South MCD area who have a monthly income of 50 thousand or less, do not need to pay professional tax. Apart from property tax, professional tax will also have to be paid to those with income above 50 thousand.

A person with an income of more than 50 thousand and 75 thousand rupees / month, Rs. 12,00 per year for a person with an income of Rs. 75001 to Rs. 1 lakh / month, and a person with an income of more than one lakh rupees per month, Rs. 2400 annually. Tax has to be paid. This tax will be charged in addition to property tax .

Renters will have to pay double tax
People who have rented their commercial property will now have to pay double tax than before. The South MCD House has increased the occupancy factor of such properties from one to two, which will double the tax calculation. Apart from this, the increase in occupancy factor will also increase the property tax of banquet halls, clubs, recreational parks, community centers and private schools.
