NEET And JEE Main Exams 2020 Issue: Medical and logging engineering is for admission to UG courses exams NEAT (NEET 2020) and JEE Main (JEE Main 2020) is not the name of the controversy subsided. Two groups have formed across the country regarding these examinations. One which is in favor of conducting examinations in September and another which is seeking to postpone the examinations.



On Wednesday, 26 August, a meeting was held on several issues before the monsoon session of Parliament chaired by Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. There was also the issue of NEET and JEE Main examinations. In the meeting, Chief Ministers of 7 non-BJP states including Delhi have decided to jointly file a review petition in the Supreme Court against conducting examinations in September.

Significantly, the Supreme Court has already heard the petitions postponing these examinations. Then the court said the government’s decision to conduct the examinations in September in the interest of students. It was said that examinations will be taken on the same dates in September.

NEET admit card: More than 14 Lakhs Downloaded
National Testing Agency on First DayNTA ) issued NEET 2020 Admit Card on Wednesday, 26 August. Admit cards were issued around 11.30 am. According to the report, by the night of 26 August, more than 1.4 million candidates across the country downloaded the admit cards of NEET. In the first five hours, 6.84 lakh candidates had downloaded the admit cards. A total of 15.97 lakh students have applied for this exam.



The NTA says that more than 99 per cent of the candidates in both the JEE Main and NEET exams have been given the first option of the exam city they have chosen. In JEE Main, 7.41 lakh out of 8.58 lakh candidates had downloaded the admit cards. 322 of which have appealed to change the city of examination.
