How to do online biometric lock sitting at home,
first go to the Aadhaar website https://uidai.gov.in/ Now come a little down on the home page. Aadhaar Services section will be found here. Click the Lock / Unlock Biometrics option in it.

now here you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number. If you want, you can also choose the option of Virtual ID number.
Then enter captcha for verification and click on Send OTP
after which you have to enter the OTP found on the registered mobile number in the new pop up. After this, click on Submit. Your Aadhaar biometric will be locked.




Unlock dial biometrics in such a way. To unlock
your biometrics, the same lock process has to be repeated. After this, click on ‘Unlock Biometric’. By clicking on this feature, your biometrics will be unlocked for a few minutes and will be locked again at the end of that period. You can use biometrics such as your fingerprint / pupil to authenticate your Aadhaar number during the OnLock period. At the same time, if you want to permanently unlock your biometrics, then click on the ‘Disable locking feature’.
