SBI YONO App: Now even without logging in, transaction, passbook and balance checking facility will be done
Pre-login features are now available on the banking and lifestyle app YONO (YONO) of the State Bank of India (SBI).
YONO SBI Pre Login Features: Pre-login features are now available on State Bank of India (SBI) banking and lifestyle app YONO (YONO). Through pre-login features, users can make transactions, check account balance and view passbook without logging into YONO app. Through this facility, the Yono app will allow for faster banking. On Yono app, there will now be a view balance and quick pay option with login option. They can be used by a 6 digit MPIN or biometric authentication / face ID or user ID and password.
The user will be able to check his account balance with just one tap. To do the transaction without logging in, the user has to setup once in Yono Quick Pay. After this, the money will be transferred in only 3 clicks. Apart from this, users can now set the limit of their transactions with the help of OTP management feature.
View balance feature
To check the balance in the Yono app without logging in, you have to click on ‘View Balance’ option below the login option. After this, one has to choose between MPIN / Biometric Authentication / Face ID / User ID and Password. After authentication, the balance of all accounts linked to the YONO app can be checked. Below the account balance will come the option of ‘View Transactions’, on which you can see the transaction details ie MPassbook of selected accounts.
How to take advantage of Yono Quick Pay feature
By clicking on the ‘Yono Quick Pay’ option given below the login and view balance option, users can transact up to Rs 2000 without logging into the app. For this, first the authentication will have to be done through one of the MPIN / Biometric Authentication / Face ID / User ID and Password.
After this, with Yono Quick Pay, the user can select any of the contacts of his phonebook, pay it, or enter the money receiver’s phone number and transfer the money, anyone can enter their VPA and make UPI transaction, UPI QR or Bharat QR Code can perform UPI transactions by scanning. Apart from this, you can send money by saving to the previously saved beneficiary or to the new beneficiary (having account number of SBI or other bank).
Yono Quick Pay also features ‘Favorites’, ‘Previous Transactions’ and ‘Frequently Used Contact’ features to facilitate the user. In Yono Quick Pay, soon there will also be a feature to send ‘request’ to receive money from someone and to approve request sent by someone.
OTP Management Feature
This feature will be found in ‘Settings’. With this help, the user can set the daily cumulative transaction limit. Transactions below this limit can only be done through MPIN.
