During the Corona period, people will get rid of the rounds of RTO. Also, vehicle registration will be completed within the stipulated time.
ARTO of Ghaziabad Vishwajit Singh says, ‘A new order has been issued by the UP government. From the next September 28, the showroom from which the commercial vehicle will be purchased, from there the online papers will be sent to the RTO office. The RTO office will check the documents and issue the registration number of the vehicle. The vehicle registration number will be sent to the showroom. From there, car owners will be able to take RC paper. Till now, registration of two or four wheelers in light vehicles was being done through dealer point. However, now commercial vehicles are also being added to it. Now commercial vehicles will also be registered in the same way.
Loss of revenue
Singh says, this step has been taken to avoid overcrowding in the RTO office during the Corona period. The dealer used to sell commercial vehicles but, many people kept driving the vehicle without registering. This caused loss of revenue to the state government, but now the registration process will start at the dealer point and its responsibility will fall on the dealer. Under the new system, the accountability of the dealer has been fixed to register the commercial vehicles.https://ift.tt/3cJg844
