Physical verification of vehicle documents is not necessary: Digital copies of all documents related to the vehicle can be accepted. There is no need to be present in their physical form for any investigation. This rule will also apply in the event of the need to seize these documents in the event of an offense. Apart from this, e-challans will also be provided on the digital portal of the government so that the violators of the rules can get complete information about it.

What will happen if the license becomes invalid : If the situation arises that the driver’s license needs to be invalidated then the process will also be digital. It will be reported by the authorities to the digital portal. By updating the details of the driving license there, it will be invalidated.

Difficult to avoid rule breakers: Record of those who break the rules will be maintained electronically. Apart from this, the behavior of the driver will also be monitored by the authorities. Not only this, the time stamp of the inspection and the picture of the police officer in uniform will also be uploaded on the portal. This has been done so that unnecessary checking is done and drivers are not harassed.

Where you need to keep the documents: The driver can keep the documents and license of the vehicle on the Central Government’s online portal Digilocker and M-Transport. Now there is no need to carry the original copy of documents. Digilocker was launched by the government with the same objective that all the work related to governance can be made paperless.

Invoice will be available even after receiving the phone in hand: Now mixing the phone and driving will be heavy. According to the new rules, the phone will have to be used very carefully for route navigation or any other work. If the phone appears in your hand while driving, an invoice can be made.
