Green Ration Card: Hello friends, if you are living below the poverty line and depend on the ration given by the government, then there is another big and good news for you. The state government will soon give a green ration card to the families below the poverty line (BPL) and will give one rupee per kg of food grains. The benefit of this green ration card will be for such poor families who cannot buy food grains at a high price.

For the information of all of you, let us know that the Government of Jharkhand has started this Green Ration Card. With the help of the Green Ration Card given by the government, the poor will get five kg of grain per unit (person). The government is going to start this scheme from November 15. Under the National Food Security Act, the benefit of this scheme will be given only to the poor families deprived of ration card, for this, people will have to apply afresh.

What is Green Ration Card and who will get benefits
This green ration card has been started by the Chief Minister of the state. Through the Green Ration Card, poor families will be provided only Rs. 1 per fort. This grain will be given five kg per unit (person). Let me tell you that till three years ago, cardholders in the state used to get ration from the scheme.

After this, in 2017 all ration cards were linked to the National Food Security Act. That is, people who are deprived of ration cards under the National Food Security Act can avail the benefits of this green ration card. Everyone can apply online or offline to get a green ration card.

In the green card, five kilo grains per unit (person) will be found.

After filling the application form, online form can be submitted on the same site.
