Farmers in Punjab and Haryana are on the streets against the agricultural laws of the central government and are staging a protest at the Singhu border in Delhi with the slogan ‘Delhi Chalo’. The manner in which the government is adopting to stop their march, citing Kovid-19, has been widely criticized. The government says that the new agricultural laws are in the interest of farmers and this will benefit them in doubling their income. But the farmers fear that this new agricultural law will eliminate the MSP i.e. the minimum support price.

Many big personalities including the common people have given their support to the farmers’ movement. Famous comedian Kapil Sharma also gave his opinion on this in a tweet, after which he was trolled by a user. Kapil Sharma has also given a befitting reply to that user. Kapil Sharma tweeted on the issue of farmers, ‘This issue should be resolved from the conversation, not giving political color to the farmers’ issue. No issue is so big that it cannot be resolved through dialogue. We are all with fellow farmers. He is our provider.
