Now a new feature of face authentication has been given by UIDAI. Through this, anyone can download the Aadhaar card with the help of their face.




The use and need of Aadhar card has increased rapidly. A 12-digit Aadhaar card is required in all matters ranging from banks, telecom companies, public distribution systems and income taxes. Recently Aadhar card issuing organization UIDAI has launched the facility of PVC cards. This card is attractive in appearance and can be protected for a long period. A hologram is also given in this Aadhar card. Apart from this, a different way to download Aadhar card online has also been devised. Till now you could download Aadhaar card only through your enrollment number or Aadhaar card number.

Now a new feature of face authentication has been given by UIDAI. Through this, anyone can download the Aadhaar card with the help of their face. For this, the Aadhaar user will have to visit the UIDAI website. Let’s know, how you can download Aadhaar card through face authentication…

 You must first click on the UIDAI website.

– You’ll be on the ‘Get Aadhaar Card’ option later.

– Now you have to go to the Aadhar card section here and click on the option of face authentication.

– Before choosing this option you have to enter your mobile number and captcha code.

– Now you have to get your face verified through authentication process.

– UIDAI will take your photo automatically.

– After your picture is clicked and verified, you will be able to easily download the Aadhaar card.

Know, what is the recognition of Aadhaar card : There is often confusion among users about Aadhaar card in which form it is recognized. In this regard, UIDAI has clarified that there are 4 types of Aadhaar cards and all are equally recognized. These are four – Aadhaar letter, e-Aadhaar, mobile Aadhaar and PVC Aadhaar card.
