Ration Card Latest Update: Change your mobile number in the Ration Card

Ration Card Update: Updating mobile numbers is very easy. You can do this work sitting at home. If an old number will be entered in your card, then you will not be able to get updates related to the ration.




New Delhi. Ration card is a document with the help of which you get free ration from the government. If your wrong number is inserted on this card or if an old number is entered, then there may be a problem for you. Therefore, you should immediately update the mobile number on your ration card.

Updating mobile numbers is very easy. You can do this work sitting at home. If an old number will be entered in your ration card then you will not be able to get updates related to the ration. Many updates from the department are sent to the card holders through messages.

How to update mobile number in ration card

  • First you go to https://nfs.delhi.gov.in/Citizen/UpdateMobileNumber.aspx .
  • Now click on Update Your Registered Mobile Number.
  • Now fill your information in the column below it.
  • Here in the first column you will have to write the Aadhar Number of Head of Household / NFS ID.
  • Ration card number has to be written in the second column.
  • The name of the head of the family has to be written in the third column.
  • In the last column you have to write your new mobile number.  
  • Now click on Save.
  • Now your mobile number will be updated.  

One nation One Card scheme implemented from June 1

Let us know that from June 1, ration card portability service ‘One Nation-One Ration Card’ has been started in 20 states and union territories. Now you can buy ration by staying in any state under this scheme. That is, you will not have to bother about food items anywhere. The scheme is already in force in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Jharkhand, Tripura, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab Himachal Pradesh and Daman-Diu.
