How SBI Customers Can File ITR Using YONO App?

tax return (ITR) free of charge using its Yono banking and lifestyle app. Posted a note on SBI’s official Twitter account said that Yono users can file ITR free of charge through Tax2win online ITR filing portal and can use CA supported services beginning at Rs 199 at a discounted price. Important to note here is that this year, in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) extended the last ITR filing date to 31 December. Taxpayers are usually expected to submit the ITR by July 31. 

Steps to file ITR using YONO app

While it is a daunting challenge to fill up ITR, SBI’s Yono app renders it convenient for its customers to file ITR. By following the below listed steps they can do the same:

  • Open the SBI YONO app on your mobile and sign in to your account using the required credentials.
  • Now navigate to the ‘Shop and Order’ section and tap on ‘tax and investment’
  • Now you will find Tax2Win link and other related details
  • Click on the link and go further.
