UP: poisonous liquor havoc in Aligarh, eight including two truck drivers killed, many more serious

The poisonous liquor has once again wreaked havoc in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Eight people including two truck drivers have died. While the condition of many people is said to be critical. The case relates to Karsua, Nimana, Havatpur and Andala villages in Lodha police station area of ​​Aligarh district. It is being told that IOC has a gas bottling plant 10 km from the district headquarters. Just opposite the plant are the villages Karsua and Andala. The same contractor has two small contracts in both villages. On Thursday, people bought liquor from here and drank. After drinking alcohol, suddenly the health of people started deteriorating. Which led to the death of eight people. Which includes two truck drivers. However, the reason for the death of the two people is not clear by the administration.

Drinking alcohol has lost the eyesight of about five people. While the condition of many people remains critical. Those who have been hospitalized. There is anger among the villagers. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started the investigation.

Superintendent of Police, City and District Magistrate along with SDM Ranjit Singh, District Excise Officer and Forest Officer also reached the spot. On receipt of the news of the death of the villagers, DIG Aligarh reached the spot. Negotiated with subordinate officers and villagers and inquired about the incident.

District Magistrate Chandrabhushan Singh says that eight people have died. But the cause of death of the two people will be clear from the post-mortem. There are contracts of the same contractor from where liquor is purchased. Both are sealed, liquor samples taken. The matter is being investigated.

Minister Yogi has taken cognizance of the case of CM Yogi’s death due to hard liquor. CM Yogi has directed the accused to take action under Rasuka. Officers of Excise and Home Department have been summoned. CM says that if the government has purchased liquor from the contract then the contract will be seized. The property of the convicts will be confiscated and auctioned and compensation will be given to the families of the deceased. Along with this, instructions have also been issued to give all possible treatment to the injured.
