UP Board Exam: The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPSEC) has decided to cancel the class 10th (UP Board Matric exam 2021) examination in view of the current situation due to the corona virus (COVID19) pandemic.

The UP board has proposed to take the 90-minute exam in the second week of July 2021 for the class 2 (UP Board Inter exam 2021) class. Sharma said that due to corona virus, the Department of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh is always working in the interest of students, even in odd circumstances.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma has said that the examinations scheduled for class 12 will be announced soon. He has said in an official statement that the decision has been taken to cancel the 10th exam. This will promote more than 29.94 students to the next class.

The minister further said in his statement that if the conditions are right then it has been proposed to be held in the second week of July, keeping in view the importance of 12th examinations. This decision of UPSEC is like CBSE board. In which the 10th exam has been canceled and is being considered for the 12th examinations.

Sharma said that the intermediate examination will be conducted in 15 working days this year as before. In the interest of the students, the state government has decided that the duration of the question paper will be kept only 90 minutes (one and a half hours) and the students will be at liberty to answer any of the 3 questions out of the 10 questions given in the paper.

The number of centers has been increased this year to maintain social distancing among children. The board will declare the complete revised schedule of the examination later on the official website. A total of 26,10,316 students have registered for class 12 board examination this year.

In the state due to corona virus, now all the students from class 6 to 11th will be promoted in the next class without examination. Deputy CM Dr. Dinesh Sharma (Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma) said that, instructions have been issued to promote the students of class 6, 7, 8 to the next class. At the same time, students of class 9th and 11th will be promoted to the next class based on their annual exam results.
