In Aadhaar, you are given online facility to update the date of birth, to create a new Aadhaar, but recently UIDAI has stopped the facility of making Aadhaar reprint, which means that now you will not be able to reprint Aadhaar online.

UIDAI has given information about this by tweeting. The Aadhaar Help Center told on a customer’s inquiry that the Aadhaar reprint service has been discontinued. Bhavesh Patel tagged Aadhaar in his tweet and wrote that the Aadhaar reprint service is not visible on uidai’s website.

this tweet, UIDAI wrote that dear resident, the order Aadhaar Reprint Service has been discontinued. You can order Aadhaar PVC card online instead. You can also print your e-Aadhaar if you want to keep it in a flexible paper format.

How to get PVC Aadhaar Card made?

For this, you have to apply online on the UIDAI website. After which you will have to go to ‘My Aadhaar’ section and click on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’. After this, you have to enter your Aadhaar Enrollment ID (EID) of 12 digit or 16 digit Virtual ID or 28 digit Aadhaar Enrollment Number. After this, you will get security code or captcha which you will have to fill. The option of Send OTP will be activated as soon as it is filled. You have to click there, and the OTP will be received on your registered mobile, from where you will have to fill it in the OTP section. After this, you can submit the online form.

After this whole process, you will have a preview of PVC Aadhaar card on the screen in front of you, as well as a payment option will appear below it. By clicking on it, you will go into the payment mode. Through which you will have to pay a fee of 50 rupees. After this, the order process of your Aadhaar PVC card will be completed. After the entire process is completed, UIDAI will print Aadhaar within 5 days and deliver the Indian post. After this, the postal department will deliver it to your home through speed post.
