UP: Demand for loudspeaker ban in mosque and other religious places, hearing today in Allahabad High Court

UP News: In the PIL filed in the Allahabad High Court, Yachty said that due to the lockdown people are working from home and online education of children is also going on from home. In such a situation, a lot of problems have to be faced with the use of loudspeakers several times a day.




Prayagraj A PIL has been filed in the Allahabad High Court on Thursday demanding a ban on Loudspeaker in various religious places including mosques. In the petition, the court has demanded that the noise pollution standard should be followed from the temple, mosque, church etc. by taking objection of the people living around the religious place. The law prohibiting the playing of loudspeakers contrary to the standard without permission should be followed The hearing on the petition will be held on Friday 28 May.

A PIL filed in the High Court on behalf of Ashutosh Shukla said that due to the lockdown imposed in several states by the second wave of Kovid-19, every citizenAre at home People are doing office work from home. Children have online classes from home. Lawyers are also arguing in lawsuits from home through virtual hearings. In such a situation, the use of loudspeaker several times a day is causing mental stress. Due to this, there is a disturbance in the work of the people.

Due to lack of sleep due to use of loudspeaker day and night, deafness, high blood pressure, depression, irritability, fatigue, allergies, digestive problems and mental disorders are occurring. Citing an order passed on another PIL last year, it has been demanded to ensure compliance and to ban the regular use of loudspeakers for religious texts or ajans.
