There is an important news for the customers of the country’s largest government bank SBI i.e. State Bank of India (SBI). Today, you will not be able to use SBI’s Internet banking platform for about three and a half hours a day. Internet banking, YONO app and YONO Lite app will not be available for three and a half hours today.
SBI has cautioned people by tweeting about this, so that people can tackle their important work in the remaining time. According to SBI’s tweet, from 1:10 pm to 5:40 pm on April 1, you will not be able to use internet banking, Yono app and Yono Lite app.
It has been told by the bank that during this time the online banking system will be upgraded. SBI tweeted, “We request our esteemed customers that we will upgrade our internet banking platform to give them a better online banking experience. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
Let us know that it has been ahead in providing digital payment and its related facilities to its customers. For the customers, there is no problem in digital payment, so the maintenance and upgrading work is done from time to time by the bank. In this episode, the work of upgrading will also be done on Thursday.
The total user base of State Bank of India is 13.5 crores. According to the bank’s data released recently, SBI has processed 636 crore transactions through digital platform. At the same time, about 64 crore UPI transactions have been done from this platform. SBI has beaten other banks many times in making e-payments.
Its Yono app has a big contribution in the record that SBI has set in digital transactions. According to statistics, the bank has distributed more than 10 lakh personal loans through YONO. Through this app, the bank has disbursed loans worth about Rs 15,996 crore. At the same time, through this app, many loans were also distributed to the farmers. Through YONO Agriculture, SBI has passed 7.85 lakh Agri Gold loans in the third quarter of the current financial year 2020-21 worth Rs 12035 crores.
