India Covid-19 second wave update: cases increasing with every day, more than 62000 infected in last 24 hours

According to the Union Health Ministry, there have been 62,258 new cases of COVID-19 in India in the last 24 hours. These have brought the total number of positive cases to 1,19,08,910.
During the last 24 hours 291 people have also died. With this, the figure of total deaths has increased to 1,61,240. At the same time, the total number of active cases in the country is 4,52,647 and 1,12,95,023 people have been cured of the disease so far.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), ‘A total of 23,97,69,553 sample tests for corona virus have been done in India till Friday, of which 11,64,915 samples were tested yesterday.
Apart from this, it was reported that a total of 5,81,09,773 people have been vaccinated with the Corona virus in the country. Let us know that vaccination is gaining momentum in the country. The Union Health Ministry on Friday said that more than 25 million senior citizens have been given the first dose so far across the country. At the same time, more than 84 lakh health workers and frontline workers have taken both doses of the vaccine. Now more than 1.5 million doses are being given daily.
Let me tell you that due to the second wave in India, there is a lot of hardening in many states. The worst condition is in Maharashtra, there has been a night curfew. Night curfew will be applicable in Maharashtra from March 28. Sanctions are continuing in Madhya Pradesh in view of Corona’s growing transition. The Health Ministry said that rapid infection is increasing in Punjab, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat including Maharashtra.
