According to the EPF, errors in name, father’s name, husband and wife’s name, date of birth and gender could be rectified. Subscriber problems increased after the new guidelines. Now only a select few will be able to change the account holders.

Now people will not be able to change their name under the new change. Many times, the employees get their name spelled incorrectly, which causes problems in withdrawals. Now these problems will not be rectified online.

For this, one has to go to the EPFO office by taking the necessary documents. Also, the death of birth, father-husband name, nominee name and employer name cannot be changed.
