UIDAI said through its official Twitter handle that any Aadhaar card can be verified online and offline. If offline verification is to be done, then its QR code has to be scanned. For online verification, go to the link resident.uidai.gov.in/verify and enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number. If you want, you can also do this work from m-Aadhaar app.

How to check Aadhaar
After clicking on the link resident.uidai.gov.in/verify to check Aadhaar card, you will be asked to fill in the security code and captcha code. Before this, you have to enter the Aadhaar number of 12 numbers. Now you have to click on proceed to verify. As soon as you go here, you will get all the information related to Aadhaar at once. In this way you will also know whether your Aadhaar is original or not. If you want to check offline, then the QR code is made at the bottom of the Aadhar card. Scan it with your mobile scanner. To help the common people, UADA had earlier issued a toll free number. This toll free number 1947 was issued in view of not everyone can have a smartphone.
