Prior to this, the price of 14 kg LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 4 on July 2020. At the same time, before June, 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder became expensive by Rs 11.50 in Delhi. Whereas, it was cheaper by Rs 162.50 in May.

The prices were in the last month i.e. October. At the same time, it will be there for the month of November.

The price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has increased for the month of November. Chennai has increased the maximum by Rs 78 per cylinder. Now Rs 1,354 will have to be paid for a commercial cylinder here. There has been an increase of Rs 76 per cylinder in Kolkata and Mumbai. Oil companies are implementing this new system so that cases of theft of gas cylinders can be dealt with and delivery to the right customer. This new system will be known as the Deliver Authentication Code. Under this, the delivery of the gas cylinder will not be completed until a code is shown by the customer to the delivery person. In the beginning phase, this system will be implemented in 100 smart cities.
