New Delhi. Different state governments are giving different Diwali gifts to their employees. In this episode, the Haryana government has announced to give festive advance up to Rs 18 thousand to the state government employees. The Haryana government has decided to give money to regular employees of Group-C and Group-D as festive advances. This is news of relief for the state government employees before Diwali. With this money, employees will be able to shop during the festive season.

When will you get money

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved this proposal. The festive advance will be paid in the first week of November. The money will be transferred to Group-C and Group-D employees. Group-C employees will be given Rs 18,000 and Group-D will be given Rs 12,000. 2,29,631 state government employees will get the benefit of Festival Advance. An amount of Rs 386.40 crore will be distributed among Group-C and D employees.

No interest will be charged

The most important thing is that no interest will be charged from the employees for this advance money. This amount will be paid within 12 months. That is, employees can return this money in 12 installments. Governments often announce such special schemes for government employees during the festive season.

Special Scheme of Government of Madhya Pradesh

For your information, let us know that the government of Madhya Pradesh has also announced to give the remaining arrears to the employees. The Shivraj Singh government of the state has announced to pay the remaining arrears of the Seventh Pay Commission. Earlier, the central government has also introduced several schemes for employees.

What are the announcements of the central government

The government introduced 2 proposals. These include LTC Cash Voucher Scheme. Leave Travel Concession or LTC Cash Voucher Scheme was announced. Central employees get LTC once in four years. Under the special scheme brought for LTC, government employees can take money in exchange for their holidays and 3 times tickets for buying such an item which attracts 12% or more GST. The second thing is a loan for central employees without interest. This is festive advance only. An advance of Rs 10,000 will be given to employees under this scheme. There will be no interest on this money and employees can return it in 10 installments.
