Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was announced for 12 crore farmers before the election by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi fulfilled his promise and soon after coming back to power, the target of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been increased to 12 crore farmers instead of 12 crore farmers. And now another scheme for farmers has been released PM Kisan Pension Yojana.



Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Pension Yojana (PMKPY), also known as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Manadhan Yojana, on 9 August. Has targeted to register more than one crore small and marginal farmers. And for this goal, it has been said to give a pension of Rs 3,000 / – per month to the farmers.

This Pradhan Mantri Kisan Pension Yojana (PM Kisan Pension Yojana) has been made for the farmers brothers of 18 to 40 years. For this, you will need to deposit money according to your age, the list of which is given below.

Conditions for availing the benefit of Prime Minister Kisan Pension Scheme (PMKPY). kisan pension scheme eligibility.

To take advantage of the Kisan Pension Yojana (PM Kisan Pension Yojana), the age of the farmer must be between 18 and 40 years.

Here the farmer has to deposit Rs 55 to 200 per month according to his age (as mentioned in the list below).

Those farmers who have 2 hectare or less land will be entitled to avail kisan pension yojana.

Farmers will get Rs 3000 / – per month as pension when they are 60 years old.

You can also open an account in the name of both the spouses of a family, here both have to deposit the money in their account.



If the farmer wishes, he can voluntarily terminate the scheme after five years, on doing so, he will be refunded the money along with interest, according to the interest rate of the savings banks.

If due to some reason the death of the farmer after the age of 60 years, then his nominee spouse will be given 50% pension.

If the farmer dies before 60 years, then the spouse can continue this scheme.

Kisan Pension Yojana requirement document?

Must be an Aadhar card.

All details of your bank account (account number, IFSC code)

You will be given a Kisan Pension Card after your registration with the common service center (CSC).

(note: at the common service center (CSC) you will not need to pay any charge or fee, the government will pay the registration fee to the CSC)

What are the benefits of Kisan Pension Scheme?

The beneficiary farmer will be able to get a pension of Rs. 3,000 / – per month after the age of 60 years.

Accounts can also be opened in the name of both the spouses of a family, from which both will get pension.
