BSNL launched its Selfcare app, will help users with recharge plans and bills

Telecom companies Airtel, Jio and Vi have their own dedicated apps, which makes it easy for users to do their recharge and get notifications about the latest plans. State-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited BSNL has now launched a new app named BSNL Selfcare App. It is available for Google Play Store and App Store and aims to help users with prepaid mobile plans, main account balance, plan validity, latest offers, etc. BSNL customers can also check their existing tariff plans, available packages, free data included in the existing ones. Plan, total data usage, remaining data with BSNL Selfcare mobile application.




The Self Care app has got an improved interface with options for Bill Pay, Recharge, Manage Account, Transaction History, Special Offers, Help & Support, BSNL Rewards, Language, Settings and Layout. BSNL users can register for it with an OTP after downloading the app. Prepaid and postpaid customers can check their recharge history, current bill details and also get recharge done using the app. The development was first reported by Kerala Telecom. BSNL Selfcare Mobile App provides better security to the users through fingerprint authentication. This ensures that there is no unauthorized access to the app.

To recharge using the BSNL Selfcare app, users can click on Recharge Now on the homepage of the app and select the plans they want to do after checking its details. Select the plan or top up. You will then be redirected to the payment desk to complete the payment process. An acknowledgment will be sent via SMS after completing the payment.




BSNL postpaid mobile users can also make bill payments from the BSNL Selfcare app. Users need to click on ‘Bill Pay’ option in the home page or side menu and then enter BSNL postpaid mobile number or account number to get latest bill details. Users can select Quick Pay and the app will be redirected to the payment desk. BSNL Selfcare app is available in two languages ​​including English and Hindi. Users can choose their preferred language by going to the sidebar menu and selecting the language option.
