According To Information Received From Sources, The Matter Related To Dearness Allowance Has Reached Prime Minister Modi. The Indian Pensioners’ Forum (BMS) Has Appealed To PM Modi To Clear The Arrears Of Dearness Allowance (DA) And Dearness Relief (DR) Of Central Employees And Pensioners.
The Indian Pensioners Forum Has Written A Letter To PM Modi Asking Him To Help In This Matter. The Finance Ministry Had Stopped The DA Hike In May 2020 Till 30 June 2021 Due To The Corona Epidemic. It Has Been Asked To Restore It Again From 1 July 2021.
Meanwhile, another good news is coming for the central employees and pensioners. According to the information, dearness allowance of central employees may increase by 3 percent before Dussehra. At the same time, there can be some talk with the government on the arrears of 18 months. AICPI index data is out. The index has reached 121.7. In such a situation, for June 2021, the DA is set to increase by 3 percent. The index for June 2021 has increased by 1.1 points, taking it to 121.7.
In this sense, the total DA works out to 31.18 per cent. But, DA is paid in round figure. In such a situation, DA will be available only 31 percent. Now again after the increase of 3 per cent, dearness allowance will reach the level of 31 per cent. That is, once again there will be a good increase in the salary of central employees. CM Secretary (Staff Side) Shiv Gopal Mishra says that if the government announces this soon, then it will definitely be a big relief for the government employees.
Significantly, in July, the Center had increased dearness allowance from 17 per cent to 28 per cent and house rent allowance from 24 per cent to 27 per cent. Now dearness allowance of central employees will again increase by 3 percent. This will increase it to 31 per cent.
Calculation on 31% Dearness Allowance
Basic salary of the employee – Rs 18,000
New Dearness allowance (31%) – Rs 17,639 per month
Dearness allowance so far (17%) – Rs 9,673 per month
How much dearness allowance

total dearness allowance has increased by 11 percent as compared to last year. The government has reduced it to 28 per cent from July 2021. Now if it increases by 3 percent in June 2021, then it will reach 31 percent with dearness allowance (17+4+3+4+3). That is, if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 50,000, then he will get DA of Rs 15,500.
Let us tell you that after increasing the Central Government (DA), the House Rent Allowance (HRA) given to the central employees has also been increased. The government has increased the HRA to 27 percent. After the dearness allowance, now due to the increase in the House Rent Allowance (HRA), the central employees have become bat-bats. The HRA has been increased by 1-3 per cent for different categories.
According to the order of the Ministry of Finance, now the central employees started getting 27 percent, 18 percent and 9 percent house rent allowance according to their city. The minimum house rent allowance for all the three categories is Rs 5400, 3600 and Rs 1800. Overall, let us tell you that the minimum DA hike will be Rs 5040 and the minimum HRA hike will be Rs 1800 every month. That is, the salary coming in September will increase by Rs 6840 (5040 + 1800).
