Big News! This bank will close its ATM from October 1, customers will get special facility for free
The bank said in its message to the customers, you can make cash withdrawal for your needs at any other bank ATM using your Suryoday Bank ATM / Debit Card.
There is big news for the customers of Small Finance Bank Suryoday Small Finance Bank. Suryoday Small Finance Bank will shut down its ATM services from October 1. The bank said that it will give customers the option to use their debit cards at ATMs of other banks. Lenders will close their ATMs from October 1. The bank said that due to operational issues, the ATMs of Suryoday Bank will not work from October 1.
You can continue to use your Suryoday Bank ATM / Debit Card for cash withdrawal at any other bank’s ATM for your needs, the bank said in its message to the customers.
As on 30 June, Suryoday SFB had a total of 555 banking outlets, out of which 97 were liability focus outlets and the total employee strength was 5,072 as on 30 June.
Internet banking service will continue
The bank said that for other banking services, customers can use internet banking and mobile banking. PIN generation, fund transfer, mini statement, balance enquiry etc. will be available through Internet Banking and Mobile Banking.
The bank’s gross advances grew 13.3 per cent year-on-year to Rs 4,004 crore, while deposits grew 15.6 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,317 crore.
Free transaction to customers from other bank’s ATMs
R Bhaskar Babu, MD, Suryoday Small Finance Bank said that we realized that many customers were not using our ATMs, we could not make it a profitable deal. So we decided that instead of continuing with these machines, we are giving free transactions to the customers at other bank ATMs.
He said that the volume of cash transactions with them is very less because with the proliferation of UPI and wallets, no one goes to ATMs to withdraw cash. According to the report, the lenders are now working out a strategy to offer 5-7 free transactions per month, where they will be allowed to use ATMs of other banks.
