Comedian Kapil Sharma is once again in trouble. Kapil Sharma has apologized to the Kayastha society for the comment made on Chitragupta in an episode of his show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. The Kayastha society threatened to boycott Kapil Sharma’s show and lodged an FIR against him, after which Kapil Sharma apologized to the Kayastha society on behalf of himself and his entire team.



Kapil Sharma commented on Chitragupta in the show aired on March 28, which hurt the Kayastha society. Kapil Sharma apologized via Twitter due to the society’s plea to boycott the show. He wrote, ‘Dear Kayastha Samaj, have heard that if your feelings are hurt at the mention of Chitragupta in the episode of’ The Kapil Sharma Show ‘aired on 28 March 2020, I would like to thank you and all my team. I apologize to Our motive was not to offend anyone. May all of you be happy, be safe and keep smiling, wish God the same. With love and respect.



Kapil Sharma also tagged Kayastha Sabha and former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahai in his post. Kapil Sharma has been surrounded in controversies many times before due to his comments.
