Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has today become one of the leading travel and tourism companies in the country. The company is one of the leading river cruise operators in the country with more than 20 years of sailing experience on the country’s inland waterways.
In addition, in order to market tourism and promote inland waterways as an attractive tourism transport, IRCTC has recently entered into an initiative to market river cruise tour packages with the help of major river cruise operating companies. Introduced the latest offers for In fact, the luxury cruise liner Antara Ganges Voyager has 58 passenger capacity, 26 deluxe cabins in its three decks and 2 suites. In which it has been designed to give extra comfort to the passenger. Apart from providing world class accommodation, the cruise liner is also furnished with state-of-the-art restaurant, bar, fitness centre, spa and sundeck.
The cruise liner will begin its maiden voyage of this season on the River Sutra program of 2 nights and 3 days in the Ganges from November 26. The cruise liner will depart from Kolkata and cover the culturally rich destinations of Phulia, Bansberia and Chandranagar in the state of West Bengal, and finally return to Kolkata. Actually, the travel program has been designed in such a way that it can represent the old traditional Bengali culture and the European Colonial Era. Apart from this, the program will have 2 fixed departures every month till March 2022.
