10 Strongest Uchiha Clan Members (Naruto)
Among the “Big Three” of anime, Naruto is probably the most famous one. Even someone who doesn’t know about anime knows about Naruto( character ). Those who watch Naruto know how multiple clans exist in the Hidden Leaf village where Naruto lives. Amongst those clans, the most feared is the Uchiha Clan. So feared that the village elders and leaders decided to place them in a different communal area. Their ocular powers make them the most powerful, and it’s obvious that some of the strongest naruto characters are Uchihas.
Viewers are more interested in Uchiha stories since their power scaling is on a different level. There are many Uchiha antagonists in the series, so to break down these characters, we’ve compiled a list of 10 of the strongest Uchiha Clan Members.
Spoiler Alert: Warning! There are major spoilers for the characters, so readers must be careful.
These Are The Strongest Uchiha Clan Members
Izumi Uchiha
Most viewers know Izumi as a close friend and the love interest of Itachi. As an Uchiha, she had access to the Sharingan, but her level of proficiency with it is not known. Despite this, she was considered to be a strong member of the Uchiha clan.
Unfortunately, Izumi met her demise on the night of the Uchiha Clan Downfall when Itachi eliminated the entire clan. But Izumi got to live her whole life with Itachi, as he used his Tsukiyomi to create that genjutsu.
Fugaku
As the head of the Uchiha Clan, Fugaku Uchiha was an influential figure within the Uchiha Clan and the Hidden Leaf Village. Fugaku was also the leader of the Hidden Leaf’s Police Force, which gave him even more power and authority within the village.
Despite having little screen time, we know that Fugaku possessed the Mangekou Sharingan and could control the Nine-Tails and overthrow the Hidden Leaf Village. While it’s true that Fugaku and his wife, Mikoto, ultimately accepted their deaths at the hands of Itachi, it’s unclear how much of this was due to their own free will and how much was a result of Itachi’s manipulations. Regardless, Fugaku’s legacy as a powerful leader and skilled shinobi live on through his sons Sasuke and Itachi.
Kagami Uchiha
Kagami is not a major character in the Naruto series, but we know he’s related to Shisui and has connections to several prominent characters. Along with his Sharigan, Kagami was known for his strategic thinking, making him an excellent battlefield tactician and commander.
He is seen as a symbol of the unity between the Uchiha and the rest of the Hidden Leaf, as he maintained close friendships with both Hiruzen and Danzō despite the tensions between their respective groups. His role in the story highlights the complexity and nuance of the relationships between characters in the Naruto universe.
Izuna Uchiha
Izuna Uchiha is notable among Madara’s brothers. Izuna stayed true to his roots, as he did not share any beliefs of the Senju Clan. We witnessed Izuna’s battle skills on several occasions as the Uchiha and Senju clans clashed in the series. The battle with Tobirama was also really entertaining.
Together with Madara, Izuna awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, showcasing his strength and skill as an Uchiha. When he was mortally wounded, Izuna selflessly offered his eyes to Madara so that his brother could achieve the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, making Madara an even more formidable opponent.
Shisui
Shisui Uchiha was more advanced in his strength compared to most Uchiha clan members. Shisui was Itachi’s closest friend, and his death is mentioned earlier in the series before he appears in flashbacks. His Mangekyou Sharingan ability, “Kotoamatsukami,” is considered the most powerful Genjustu in the entire series.
Shisui was skilled in most of the Sharingan’s abilities and one of the most anticipated Uchiha members by fans. Unfortunately, we don’t get to know much about Shisui due to limited screen time. After losing one eye to Danzo, Shisui entrusted his remaining eye to Itachi, who kept the eye and implanted it into one of his crows.
Itachi Uchiha
Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke’s older brother, was one of the strongest members of the Uchiha Clan and among the most powerful Shinobi in the Hidden Leaf village. Even before reaching his full potential, he had enough strength to massacre the entire Uchiha Clan, one of the most dominant families in the Shonen anime.
It is noteworthy that Itachi accomplished this feat alone, although he did receive some assistance from Obito. Itachi joined Anbu at the age of 11 years and unlocked sharingan at eight years. With constant use of his Mangekou Sharingan, he started to lose his vision and later died after battling with Sasuke.
Uchiha Obito
Uchiha Obito was the one who controlled the Akatsuki behind the scenes and started the “4th Great Ninja War.” The viewers had no idea that Obito had always been hidden behind the mask of Tobi. Obito Uchiha had a tragic backstory in Naruto and went on to pursue Madara’s Ultimate goal of Infinite Tsukuyomi.
Along the way, he became one of the strongest characters in the series, even becoming the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails. Despite missing an eye, Obito’s strength was not limited, but he did not possess the full potential of the Sharingan. However, in his final moments, Obito gave his abilities to Kakashi, allowing him to awaken a Susanoo with a two-eyed Mangekyo Sharingan.
Uchiha Madara
Amongst all the Uchihas, Madara is the favorite among most viewers. The years of character buildup resulted in one of the most iconic scenes in the series, as Madara destroyed the entire Shinobi Alliance army. Uchiha Madara was an exceptional member of the Uchiha Clan, as he not only awakened his Sharingan to a higher level with the Rinnegan, but he also acquired the power of the Ten-Tails after stealing it from Obito.
Madara even incorporated some of Hashirama’s abilities into his powers, making him an even more formidable opponent. With all his abilities, he was close to achieving his ultimate goal of “ Infinite Tsukuyomi” until the biggest plot twist of the series came into action.
Indra Otsutsuki
Indra is the first son of Hagoromo Otsutsuki (The Sage of Six Paths), so it’s obvious that he would be one of the strongest Uchiha Clan members. Indra is recognized as the founder of the Uchiha Clan, as he was the first person to possess Sharingan. He is also responsible for initiating the cycle of hatred by resenting his brother Asura for being chosen by their father as his successor.
Sasuke is the reincarnation of Indra, and Naruto is the reincarnation of Ashura. However, he is believed to be weaker than Sasuke, as Hagoromo passed his powers to Sasuke at the end of the series.
Uchiha Sasuke
Sasuke is a prominent character in Naruto and is considered the strongest character in the series after Naruto. Throughout the Naruto series, Sasuke’s character development is top-notched. In Shippuden, he becomes one of the main antagonists of the series. At the end of the series, Sasuke becomes the strongest Uchiha as he masters his ocular techniques, including awakening the Rinnegan.
Sasuke’s hunger for power and Naruto’s will to stop him makes up a perfect “Yin Yang” relationship between them. He is still the most powerful Uchiha in the Boruto series.
Since Sarada inherited Sasuke’s abilities and strength from both of her parents, perhaps she will surpass him in strength and become the strongest Uchiha.
