Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma fame ‘Babita ji’ can be arrested, court dismisses petition
Munmun Dutta News Update: Munmun Dutta alias Babita ji released a video on her YouTube channel on May 9 last year and made a derogatory remark about the scheduled caste society, about which Dalit rights activist and lawyer Rajat Kalsan police station city Hansi. On May 13, a case was registered under the sections of the SC ST Act. Apart from Hansi in Haryana, FIR was also registered against Munmun Dutta and Babita ji in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
The petition for anticipatory bail of TV artist Munmun Dutta alias Babita Ji, who became famous with the serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, Special Court established under the SC-ST Act of Hisar ) Judge Ajay Tevtiya has rejected, due to which Babita ji’s troubles have increased and she is facing the threat of arrest.

Munmun Dutta had filed a petition in SC seeking dismissal of the case.
Regarding these cases, Munmun Dutta had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking to investigate all the cases at one place in Hansi, Haryana. Apart from this, Munmun Dutta had demanded in the petition filed in the Supreme Court that all the cases registered against her should be quashed, which was turned down by the Supreme Court. After that Munmun Dutta again moved the High Court and sought a stay on the arrest, but later his lawyer withdrew the petition from the High Court.
Hisar’s special court dismissed the petition after arguments
Now she had filed a petition in the court established under the SC-ST Act of Hisar. On which the debate of both the sides took place on 25 January. Today the court dismissed the petition of Munmun Dutta alias Babita ji. It is worth noting that even before this, Dalit rights activist Rajat Kalsan had filed a case against former cricketer Yuvraj Singh and film actress Yuvika Chaudhary for using derogatory language about Dalit society, after which they also had to get bail.
